This was my entry for the HMC 19 80's Cartoons in its current, untextured stage as of the challenge's deadline. The ZBrush clay-render is a placeholder until I find the time to correct some rather obvious sculpting flaws and paint textures etc for a finished render. For more information on how this model was created and more images, check out the wip thread here:

Modeled, rigged, skinned and posed in XSI, sculpted in Mudbox, uv-ed in UvLayout, detailed and rendered in Zbrush. Maya was used for some clean-up work only, but deserves credit here as well.
It was modeled poly-by-poly from photo-reference with a basic spline cage in Maya 8 and then further sculpted to the current state of affairs in ZBrush 3. Once completed it will be fully micro-sculpted and textured using photo-references and rigged for facial animation.

Here we have an ancient, embarrasingly incomplete and artistically lacking pencil concept-drawing of mine. I recently re-discovered it and despite all the flaws and imperfections of the sketch, I still like the overall idea very much and plan to translate it into a 3D render once I am done with all my other current projects. Admittedly, I basically put it here as a reminder to myself, so it wont disappear in the stacks of other ideas again. Stay tuned for updates.
